Math & Computer Science

The Mathematics and Computer Science curriculum is designed to bring mathematical and computer knowledge within the grasp of all students. Individual differences are considered by the presentation of topics at the student’s level of comprehension and ability. Understanding of basic concepts and skills, as well as logical reasoning and mathematical insight, are constantly stressed.

​The opportunity is provided for the students to discover related patterns in the various branches of mathematics and to appreciate the part played by mathematics in the development of our changing technology, sciences, business and industry. Through the use of available computer programs, students may obtain knowledge about computer technology and programming. ​

The department strives to continue to remain current with the advancements in technology and to pass this knowledge onto our students. The student will be qualified to continue in mathematical and computer education on a collegiate level or enter the workforce.
