Science, Curriculum Overview
The Science Department of Holy Redeemer High School offers a well- defined four-year program which adapts to all levels of learning abilities. By utilizing our five well-equipped laboratories our students are presented the opportunity to experience hands-on science experiments and demonstrations, two important components of the scientific method learning process.
Our curriculum is centered on the fundamentals of biology, chemistry and physics, including three Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as several challenging electives.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science where they can work on a faculty-assisted project and then present their findings at the annual competition.
Before and after school tutoring is available to ensure that each student is getting the most out of their "science experience" at Holy Redeemer.
